Alessi Julienne Cut Sundried Tomatoes are hand picked from Southern Italy when they are juicy, red and flagrantly ripe. They are then split in half, salted and laid on large wooden flats to dry in the sun. The tomatoes are a welcomed addition to many foods. However, they have a high concentrated flavor which means a little goes a long way. They can be used in appetizers, dips, and canapes`. Drop in soups and meat stews or sprinkle on pastas, salads or rice. Also, include them in risottos omelettes, quiches, pizza, foccacia or inside bread dough. It’s uses are limitless.
